High Trail Trees Map

High Trail Trees is a fun section of well pitched trees above the warming hut. The skin required to get to High Trail Trees is more than twice as long as that to Shop Chutes, but still quite easy. The skiing in High Trails Trees is fun, tree skiing with a pitch ranging anywhere from the low to high 30 degrees. The snow in here is well protected from the sun, but it can be effected by the wind. When it is good, it is very good, but when the wind has gotten to it, High Trail Trees can be quite scoured. This zone is often less avalanche prone than the zones directly to it's NE (Hanging Meadow, Sentinel, North Chute and High Trail Cliffs).
