Tight Steep Chute off Peak 5 Summit
Ski Touring Extreme
This is the steepest and tightest line on Peak 5. It starts out in an open snowfield, and then rolls over and gets steeper as it gets tighter. This line tends to get sun early so make sure you get to it as soon as you can. If you are the 2nd or 3rd person through it, it will have likely sloughed out. Please be aware of avalanche conditions, as this line is very steep. As you near the bottom, you will be back in the open snowfield. Make sure when you come out to stay skier's left and then eventually skier's right back to the ski area. Please be up to date with avalanche conditions when skiing this line.
