Nice wide chute off the Summit of Peak 5
Ski Touring Severe
This chute is a good option for something wider and simpler off Peak 5. The entrance is fairly easy, though be aware of the cornice build up, and the drop in as this is the steepest part of the line. The cornice usually does not build much at all at the top of this line making it a safer option than the lines skier's right/looker's left of it. After you drop, enjoy nice fun open turns and make sure you stay skier's left at the bottom to make your way back to the ski area.
Severe
Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
