The Roll is so named because it's top is a large, often wind loaded, convexity. Be very aware of the avalanche danger before skiing this route as it avalanches often.

Description

If conditions are right The Roll can provide very enjoyable bowl skiing. You'll often find that people have built a jump on the skier's left side, which can be enjoyable as well. Another benefit of The Roll is visual access one can get to other west side routes after skiing it.
