Y Chute Right Map

Approach this area by entering on the far skier's right side of the standard Y chute. After descending approximately 35-40 vertical feet you can traverse over the rock outcropping to the skier's right. This will put you at the top of Y Chute Right where you will find a slightly steeper pitch, often with some rocks to manage on your way down. Be aware that avalanche conditions in here can be tricky to predict since this is in an area that gets swirling winds and large temperature gradients due to the multitude of rock outcroppings.
