Raven Cliff Falls Trail Map

The Raven Cliff Falls Trail is a charming hiking trail that leads you through the lush forests of the Chattahoochee National Forest to the stunning Raven Cliff Falls.

Description

The trailhead is located near Helen, Georgia, and provides access to the 5-mile out-and-back trail. The trail is well-marked and maintained, making it suitable for hikers of all skill levels, although some sections are somewhat steep and rocky.

As you hike along the trail, you'll be surrounded by the beauty of the North Georgia mountains, with dense forests and babbling streams lining the path as it winds past a series of rocky buttresses. The trail follows Dodd Creek for much of its length, providing pleasant scenery and the soothing sound of running water.

The highlight of the hike is Raven Cliff Falls, a stunning 40-foot waterfall cascading over a rocky cliff into a picturesque pool below. The waterfall is particularly impressive after periods of rain when the water flow is at its peak.

At the end of the trail, you'll reach a viewing platform that offers a panoramic view of Raven Cliff Falls and the surrounding forest. It's a perfect spot to rest, take photos, and soak in the natural beauty of the area before retracing your steps back to the trailhead.
