Constitution Beach sits in the Orient Heights neighborhood of East Boston, making it easily accessible from all parts of the city. The beach is peaceful but it's just across from Boston airport, so expect a bit of plane noise - a blessing or a pain depending on how much of an aviation enthusiast you are!

Description

The beach offers scenic views of the Boston Harbor and the surrounding area, and in addition to plane spotting you can enjoy watching boats sail by and take in the sights of the city skyline. The beach itself is sandy so walking barefoot is pleasant, as is a swim during the hottest of days.

The best way of exploring Constitution Beach is to walk along it in one direction and then follow the footpath that shadows it back to your start point.
