Mohawk Trail State Forest Campground Loop and Todd Mountain Map

Mohawk Trail State Forest covers an impressive 6,000 acres of dense woodland, mountain ridges, and gorges. Renowned as one of the most scenic natural areas in Massachusetts, this state forest is naturally home to fantastic hiking trails!

Description

The loop and mountain climb mapped here begins from the Great Pines Camping Area by climbing a trail to a saddle on the mountain ridge. From the saddle, you can pop up to the top of Todd Mountain before completing the loop. Alternatively, if you want a shorter hike, either do an out-and-back to the top of the mountain or just complete the loop.

Some of the sections of climbing can be a bit steep, which adds a bit of difficulty to the hike. Nevertheless, the short distance makes it an approachable route.
