Race Point Light walk via Hatches Harbor Trail

I haven't done this yet, but from what I gather there appears to be a section where you have to cross a small river. If it's summer and warm out it would probably be a pleasant and well earned swim, but if not it seems like you can walk around it. Also, I'm not sure if the sand road leading to the light is public, you may have to walk along the water. The trail is all sand. There are plenty of bike trails that can take you to the trail head
