Middle Cottonwood trail is about 4 miles to a shoulder on the South side of South Saddle Peak. It is rockier than Truman, and crosses the creek many times. There is good skiing in the upper reaches of the trail.
Wide gentle slopes at around 20 degrees or less.
Low Exposure (E1)
Exposure is limited to that of the slope itself. Getting hurt is still likely if the slope is steep and/or the snow is hard.
Little chance of being seen or helped in case of an accident.
