The Fortress Map

The Fortress is the first way to ski into the Pinnacles area south of Saddle Peak. It is great option days after a storm when Saddle is skied out. Head south just past Argentina bowl. At the high point south of Argentina you will see a nice open snowfield that heads down towards the first pinnacle. Ski this powder field, but head left towards the ridge after about 450 feet of skiing. Here you can get through the slots pretty easily. Take one of a few nice north facing shots through the trees down towards the bottom of Argentina. Hit the Argentina traverse, and head back to Bridger Bowl.
