Mirror Lake is a beautiful alpine lake on the ridge across from Mount Hood. When the water is still, the lake's surface creates a perfect mirror, reflecting the impressive summit of Mount Hood.

Description

The hike to Mirror Lake is exceedingly popular due to its easy access directly off Mount Hood Highway. Consequently, you can expect to experience plenty of trail traffic from other users up to Mirror Lake. Due to its popularity, the trail tread is well-maintained and non-technical.

If you're looking for some bonus miles, you can continue beyond Mirror Lake to the Summit of Tom, Dick, and Harry Mountain, but be aware that the climb gets more challenging beyond the lake.
