This is a popular freeride skiing route which is generally considered to be severe. It's not remote, it features medium exposure (e2) and is typically done in an unknown time of year. From a low point of 1.9 km to the maximum altitude of 2 km, the route covers 116 m, 0 vertical metres of ascent and 67 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 4.2 and Labande grade 4.

A steep glade with a narrow chute, Sure Shot is so named because it frequently avalanches. Follow Kookie Ridge past Rinky Dink. Look for the narrow entrance just before the ridge flattens out. In certain snow conditions, straightlining though the trees might be required.

Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
