A traverse / Sidestep to bring you to No Name Face
Freeride Skiing Difficult
This traverse from the top of Powder 8 Face around to No Name Face can be a breeze or a nightmare. In good snow conditions, you will make it to the belly of the bowl in a matter of minutes, and from there, it's a short hike up to the start of No Name Face. However, this traverse can be extremely hazardous. Breaking trail can take hours if the track isn't in. You will cross underneath enormous cliff bands; Once is Enough, and Twice is Nice, all of which regularly shed snow, ice, rocks, and humans. Also, you are in avalanche terrain the entire time. However, when done properly this traverse will bring you to the goods!
