Mount Moran - Skillet Glacier Map

Nearly 6000' from the summit to the lake, Mount Moran's Skillet Glacier route is one of the finest ski descents in North America. Due to the avalanche hazard mid-winter, the best time to score this line in powder and stable conditions is March through early-April, when the lake is still frozen over. This can be done in a single push, but camping overnight and skiing multiple lines makes for a more pleasant experience.
