Description

After the closure of the Canyons Bike Park, Deer Valley is now the only true downhill mountain bike park in the Park City region. Sure, you can take your bike on several lifts in Park City Mountain Resort, but most of the trails you can access from the Park City lifts are more akin to classic two-way singletrack than they area purpose-built downhill lines. Deer Valley, on the other hand, offers a fully-outfitted bike park filled with downhill-only bike trails.

"Deer Valley was the first resort in Park City to put a concerted effort into the development and maintenance of mountain bike trails,” writes MountainBikingParkCity.com. "Deer Valley continues to expand its trail network this year with a fourth flow trail connecting mid-mountain to lower-mountain,” the author continues. Undoubtedly the downhill bike park at Deer Valley will continue to expand as the years roll on.

Deer Valley offers "over 3,000 feet of elevation and an extensive trail network,” according to MountainBikingParkCity.com. This extensive network offers an impressive diversity of trails. Here, you can still find several steep, gnarly old school downhill lines, but you’ll also find top-tier flow trails for intermediate riders, big jump lines for advanced riders, and approachable progression trails for beginners. The Deer Valley flow trails have all been designed and built by Gravity Logic, the geniuses behind the Whistler Bike Park.

If you’re in Park City and want to get your downhill shred on, head to Deer Valley!
