Freeride Skiing Severe
This is an easily accessed line. Turn left from "La Capa" lift and hike for 10 - 15 minutes to the top of the "Pic de la Capa". The line is pretty steep at the entrance. Turn right and ski the arête on the right. Snow cover can be pretty thin and make the face more unstable; the line gets a lot of sun so make sure about the snow conditions as it can be either wet snow or frozen. Avalanche risk is pretty significant in the first section, but the lower section of the line is less steep and is close to the trees, which helps to keep the face stable. The line finishes on the road which leads back to the main Arcalis plateau, where a long walk is needed.
Severe
Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
