This is a stunning face in good conditions. The classic is hiking up to Reither Kar (-> reference) and picking one of the many lines up there, but even skipping any hike and dropping in from the cable car itself is stunning. It gets tracks, but if you wander off the obvious pitches, you have plenty of snow to play with and ride first lines. Essentially the entire face is rideable, and even entering over the ridge from Reitheralmbahn is an option.

Description

If the lift is running and avalanche risk is manageable, this is a great spot for white out days. We like to take friends here in those days. It remains a mystery to us, why the place is not more busy off-piste given the proximity to Innsbruck.

V2: Middle one, also epic.

As a side not: Take a break at Rosshuette when the weather is good and you can sit outside. The face looks irresistible from there, lunches are usually pretty short if your legs aren't yet fried.

Alternatives: Obviously the classic Reither Kar. And if you like it more remote: get up to Reither Kar, traverse high in the bowl and cross the ridge. The bowl is stunning, no tracks all but guaranteed. The way out is very flat and leads to Giessenbach.
