Silvretta Ski Tour: Wiesbadener Hut to Galtur via the Rauhkopfscharte Map

This is a great way to finish the tour. From a relatively high hut it is not too much effort to a high col, the Rauhkopfscharte, then a long N facing descent to finish, down the Bieltal.

Description

From the hut head E, then N, then E again to gain the Rauhkopf glacier which you follow to the Rauhkopfscharte at 2991m. From here you can descend directly on cold N facing snow to finish the tour down the Bieltal to below the Silvrettasee. It is a very gentle pisted track down to Galtur needing some poling, wax on you skis or both!
