Description

Many of the better known ski tours in the Alps are serious, high altitude affairs and while this tour does traverse some big glaciers, the majority of the terrain is mellower and less intimidating than is found on most hut to hut tours. As such it makes an ideal first multi day ski tour.

The skiing on the route is mainly gentle and provides excellent, stress free fun. The huts, meanwhile, are exceptional, and have small rooms (no dormitories here!), beer on tap and huge quantities of rich food. The route is doubly appealing because it is circular and therefore doesn't entail any complicated logistics.
