Pale Face has a sign posted just behind the Olympic Rings at the Roundhouse. Follow the Cat Track around and under the Roundhouse Lodge. Then continue underneath the Gondola for about 50-60m. Bear left along the open ridge until you find yourself wrapping around a tree island , this is where the fun starts! Pale Face is pretty bumpy except for 30-50 cm days. The first pitch is a short 70m bumps run, and keep skiers left on this first pitch to ensure you end up on top of the second pitch. Very steep on the skiers left side, the second pitch has a few lines down it, stay right for the easiest route down, or keep left for some steep turns. This is an excellent run to try out some big mogul skiing. Get here first on a powder day before the Alpine has opened and you'll be in for a treat. Many a face shot occurs on Pale Face!
