Nymph Falls Provincial Park is a small park located just north of the town of Cumberland. The marquee feature is obviously Nymph Falls: a lengthy series of small cascades where the Puntledge River flows over undulating rock slabs. These wide rock slabs create stunning veils of falling water, and manmade fish ladders cut into the rock also create a series of much more rugged, tumultuous falls.

Description

While it's possible to hike directly from the parking lot to the falls in just a few minutes, this easy loop hike makes the most of the beautiful trails running through this provincial park, stretching the experience out with a longer hike along the river.

The hiking is easy, and the trails are flat and graveled, although you may have to cross a few tree roots on the first section leading down toward the river. That said, the main path down to the falls is fully ADA accessible.

After treading through the deep forest, you'll soon reach the river and take a left on the River Trail. While the main Nymph Falls still await, you'll enjoy the sounds of rapids and rushing water throughout the entire hike!

After reaching the falls, you can either hike down river a little further and complete this route as mapped, or if you're tiring already, you can return directly to the trailhead via the wide path through the middle of the forest.
