Accessed from the top of the 3 valleys chairlift, this route starts with a traverse from the corner of the Chardons red run. This can then be taken around the edge of the mountain into the traverse above the chute itself, this traverse has quite a lot of exposure. As you come around the side of the mountain the terrain opens out to a large (often powder filled) area which you follow downwards and accross to the top of the chute. 2 gabions can be seen in the early season just above the entrance to the chute. The chute itself is approximately 2 metres wide for a distance of 10-20m, however after this it begins to open out. Stick to the skiers left on the exit of the chute to avoid the exposure on the skiers right. This can then be followed out towards the Plein Sud Blue Run.
