3 Valleys

Meribel

Vanoise Massif

A great intermediate powder run with loads of variations. Not too far from the piste and again it faces N,NE so rarely too sun affected.

Head along Venturon and as the piste swings to the right this is where you continue on. Access is easy, it is directly off the piste on the bend. Traverse the bowl in front of you to get fresh tracks and you are going to head down the valley of the bowl to a small col. From there you will find access to a steeper bowl, this is the trickiest part of the run as a sudden change in gradient after an easy start. Essentially you can't go wrong here as the valley bends round to the left following a stream bed. Play along the bed and eventually work your way to skiers right. No big surprises here, a few rock outcrops but getting flatter as you descend. Venturon piste will be easily visible to your right- you rejoin it.
