This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be difficult. It's extremely remote, it features high exposure (e3) and is typically done between January and March. From a low point of 1.6 km to the maximum altitude of 2.4 km, the route covers 1.5 km, 1 vertical metres of ascent and 799 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 3.2 and Labande grade 4. You'll need skins to complete it safely.

Description

A wonderful journey into Gressoney valley, it follows a steep couloir just underneath Testa Grigia that will bring you to Gressoney La trinitè. This couloir could be a nice first approach to steep skiing. The itinerary itself is far from the lifts and difficult to navigate.
