This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be extreme. It's extremely remote, it features extreme exposure (e4) and is typically done between May and July. From a low point of 3.6 km to the maximum altitude of 4 km, the route covers 465 m, 0 vertical metres of ascent and 393 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 5.2 and Labande grade 6. You'll need rope, skins and crampons to complete it safely.
this is an extreme descent into a very solitary side of the mountain. From the top bypass the cliff with a rope (60m) then follow the steep face till Ghiacciaio delle Piode
