This is a popular alpine climbing route which is generally considered to be moderate. It's remote, it features medium exposure and is typically done between September and January. From a low point of 2.2 km to the maximum altitude of 3 km, the route covers 2.6 km, 766 vertical metres of ascent and 0 vertical metres of descent. You'll need crampons, glacier kit and 2 ice axes to complete it safely.
A good warmup to climbing on the Grand Plateau. Grade 2+ up the East Ridge.
