This hike takes you on a winding walk from the top of the Valvidrera funicular. It also offers great views of Barcelona and the Collserola natural park. If you're lucky you can see turtles in the Panta de Vallvidrera :)

The landscape and vegetation changes several times, both with distance but also altitude.

There are shops and restaurants for water and food etc both at the starting point and at the finish point, but you need to bring everything with you for the hike. There are NO shops/restaurants en route. If it is a hot day, expect to bring minimum 2 liters of water per person.

The path is not difficult to follow and most of the hike is pretty easy terrain. However, there are a few passages where the surface is rocky terrain, so good shoes is a must. No sneakers/flip flops. At times the path provides shade from trees, at times there is no shelter from the sun, bring sunscreen.

Suitable with children from 12 years and up, this is a wonderful hike.
