Tajos da la virgen gully

Sierra Nevada Resort

A line based on the same route than the laguna as all these line are very well linked together as the "Tajo de la virgin" black slopes is the only way to access to this. The best is the to take as much possible speed to do not have to push too much with the ski poles.

Tajos da la virgen gully Map

Start on the black slope "Tajo de la virgen". Please note this slope is closed most of the time so as soon as you leave the red slopes you are already in the backcountry. Take a high traverse leftwards, heading over some rocks to access the gully. This is well protected from the sun and the wind as well. On powder days this is a must as the snow is really good. It is steep initially but eases off lower down to rejoin to the red slope "Olimpica", bringing you back to the Laguna slopes area and back to the express chairlift. It is a lovely run.
