This is a popular freeride run in the resort after a big dump because it is well protected by a overhanging big ridge of 35 degrees. It also has a nice mellow start at 2600 metres and a 33 degrees open face to finish. You will arrive at the base of the Greitspitze 2872 metres.

Description

To access the run from Ischgl, you will have to take the Fimbabahn or Silvrettabahn or Pardatschgratbahn or Pardoramabahn to get to Idalp (2320 metres) and then take the Idjochbahn. You will arrive at Idjoch 2760 (metres). Then you can ski the 11 - Blue piste that changes in to the 13 - Black which connects to the 13 - Black coming from the Greitspitze (2872 metres). Ski down towards Idalp (2320 metres). When you arrive at the edge of the big ridge on the skiers left, you can access the top of the run.

From Samnaun you will have to take Luftseilbahn or Doppelstöckige Pendelbahn then ski down to Alp Trida (2263 metres) where you can take Viderjochbahn 1 to ski to Salaas (2456 metres) where you can take the Viderjochbahn 2 or Greitspitzsbahn. if you took Viderjochbahn 2 then you can ski the 11 - Blue piste that changes in to the 13 - Black, which connects to the 13 - Black coming from the Greitspitze (2872 metres). This is the 13 black you can take if you took the Greitspitzsbahn. Ski down towards (Idalp 2320 metres). When you arrive at the edge of the big ridge on the skiers left, you can there access the top of the run.

Be aware that the beginning is very mellow, and could require that you need to ski uphill or skin uphill for a short distance. When you are past this section, the run is between 20 and 25 degrees for about 500 metres. Then you are at a joch (col) that over looks the Höllkar. You can see the base of the Lange Wandbahn (2221 metres). This section is a little steeper, ranging from 30 to 35 degrees. After this section you can connect with the Lange Wandbahn (2221 metres) that brings you back to the top of the Greitspitze (2872 metres) if you want to do the run again.
