The 6 bis was a groomed track but for the last few years has been untouched for the joy of freeriders. It's a sunny ride and it's an alternative run to Theodulo freeride run. It is wide and mostly not too steep, so better to have some powder experience or come here only when the snowpack is thick but not too much powder. Pay attention to the rocky terrain: it's full of invisible rocks and the most experienced locals avoid coming here is there is not enough snow. Drop in just below the Teodulo Refuge and Restaurant, coming both from Bontadini lift or Plateau Rosa cable car. The first section is one of the most rocky, so pay attention. Stay away from the left side of the run because there is a dangerous cliff.

Description

At the beginning of the run you will see a little hill in front of you: you can either go on the left or right side of it, the choice is yours, then continue staying away from the left side of the run because of the cliff. From here, stay between a few metres away from the left side of the track and a few metres beyond the lift line. The freeride here is pretty safe but pay attention to rocks anyway. When the slope becomes steeper, you can either go leftwards a little downhill or stay uphill towards the groomers and get the on-piste run before the natural end of this off-piste. If you go downhill, keep your speed and enjoy the last wide section until you will have to join the groomed track at the beginning of the flat part.
