Theodulo Alto Map

The Theodulo off piste lines are very popular in Cervinia. Probably they are THE most popular, so if you wake up after one day of good snowfall and the avalanche bulletin reports good conditions, get the lifts and go here as soon as possible. The drop in is moderately steep but short, then - following this upper line on the left side of Theodulo - the run becomes really fun, moderately steep but really one of the best here. Stay on the very leftmost side to avoid the central line which has exposed rocks and little cliffs. Follow the leftmost line as close as possible to the slope that marks the dip. When the slope becomes wider you will see that the slope between right side and your left side of the run is linked, so you can go faster rightwards, bringing as much speed as possible to reach the groomed snowcat path that will leads you towards the groomed tracks. Or... cross the snowcat path and continue on the Barmaz freeride line, one of the longest here.
