Hike from the Tête de Balme to L'Arolette summit. Traverse high round to the W facing slopes. Ski the face into the Jeurs bowl before returning to the lift through the woods. This is beautiful open skiing high up, into fantastic spaced tree skiing lower down. The whole area is well known for avalanches which have caught out experienced freeriders.
