Ombrieux line Map

There is nothing really hazardous in this line apart from the fact that the area is steep (about 35 degrees maximum). The line faces south-east so a lot of sun is coming into this area of the mountain and it can be dangerous all year. Stay to the left of the trees as you join the black slope "Ombrieux" a little higher than this part. Remember low snow cover can make it risky, as can too much snow so checking the weather is important. The line is below 2000 metres and good snow can be found here. The black slope will bring you back to the "Panoramique (Chaux Longe)" blue slope and access to the "TK de Chermeu" or "Pré la Vieille" ski lifts.
