Sitting at 2825 metres, just below the enchanting Moiry glacier and on a mountain ledge opposite the Zinalrothorn mountain, the Cabane de Moiry is an excellent destination for an experienced ski tourer seeking spellbinding mountain views.

Description

Starting in Grimentz, climb up passing Les Lachelettes (2178m) to the high alpine lake Lac de Moiry. From the lake continue north until you are faced with the majestic Moiry Glacier. Double back on yourself slightly and head east to the Cabane de Moiry.
