Climb Signalkuppe (4,556 m)
Ski Touring Difficult
Via the Grenz Glacier, you'll climb the Signalkuppe 4,556 m. The fifth 4,000-meter peak of this week is also the highest one and the location of Capanna Margherita. A magnificent view of the entire Monte Rosa Massif and, on a clear day, all the way to Turin are compensation for the efforts needed in the thin mountain air. A fantastic long descent to Zermatt concludes this wonderful touring week. (Distance: 7. 5 km; Duration: 4.5 hours; Ascent: 1,650 vertical meters).
