While not nearly as iconic as some of the other extreme runs at Palisades Tahoe (The Palisades, The Fingers, Tram Face, etc...), Garbage Chute still holds strong as one of the more challenging lines at Palisades Tahoe. Compared to other lines at the resort, this chute seems tame. Anywhere else however, this would certainly be one of, if not, the toughest skiable line(s). The chute itself is very rocky and narrow and despite not requiring any mandatory air, this is certainly a very thrilling challenge for the expert skier!

Description

Note that you will have to take a 5ish minute hike to your right upon getting off the Headwall lift. This run eventually filters into Lower Siberia Bowl, Siberia Run, and Newport and you can take it all the way back to Headwall Express or Siberia Express!
