On good snow years, these can be a very fun and thrilling alternative to National Chute (the easiest official way down The Palisades). In general, this alternative is around the same difficulty as National Chute though some might consider it slightly easier. Like National Chute and all the other lines off The Palisades, you'll filter into Siberia Bowl. As you do, be careful to regulate your speed to prevent going airborne as a result of launching yourself off the traverse lines in Siberia Bowl.
