This is a popular freeride skiing route which is generally considered to be extreme. It's extremely remote, it features high exposure (e3) and is typically done between February and March. From a low point of 2.3 km to the maximum altitude of 2.9 km, the route covers 1.2 km, 0 vertical metres of ascent and 634 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 5.4 and Labande grade 7. You'll need rope, skins, ice axe and crampons to complete it safely.

Description

This route is not for the faint of heart. The cliff traverse is usually not even skiable unless there's a seriously good snow year. If it isn't this will require a mandatory cliff drop of roughly 20-40 feet depending on snow. Not for the faint of heart at all!
