Gentle Gladed Gullies
Freeride Skiing Moderate
This is a popular freeride skiing route which is generally considered to be moderate. It's extremely remote, it features low exposure (e1) and is typically done between January and April. From a low point of 2.5 km to the maximum altitude of 2.7 km, the route covers 6.3 km, 552 vertical metres of ascent and 774 vertical metres of descent.
This gullies are gladed and wide open, short yet very enjoyable. They're a nice contrast to the steeper and equally short Deadwood Tree Chutes. As shown in the map, there can be a cornice that forms due to wind at the top, however it's never unreasonably sized!
Moderate
Slopes become slightly steeper at around 25-30 degrees.
