This is a popular freeride skiing route which is generally considered to be difficult. It's extremely remote, it features medium exposure (e2) and is typically done between January and March. From a low point of 2.5 km to the maximum altitude of 2.9 km, the route covers 3 km, 378 vertical metres of ascent and 398 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 4.1 and Labande grade 5. You'll need skins to complete it safely.

Description

Expert skiers should try this couloir instead of the backside couloir It's significantly rockier and narrower than Backside Couloir. A ton of fun if you manage to hike all the way back here!
