Freeride Skiing Severe
Leaning Tree Chute is found on the skier's right side of Dead End Chute. There is usually a rope of Dead End Chute and Body Bag, if you stay to the right of this rope after Rock N Roll Glades or staying left across Phoenix Steps when it joins Phoenix Bowl, you'll see a chute between the rocks in Dead End and some trees. A big leaning tree marks the beginning of Leaning Tree Chute as the fall line takes you with some hop turns into the apron under Dead End Chutes. You'll want to keep your speed at the bottom as you exit on to the Third Bowl / Phoenix Exit cat track for the quick walk back to get to Black Eagle and East River Express.
