What makes this chute so tough is the initial entry. It's difficulty can vary significantly based on the year you attempt it. Some years it can simply require a mandatory, albeit quick, straightline into the gut of the chute. Other years it either requires a mandatory jump over the cliff band or using rope to lower yourself into the chute. Once you're in the main portion of the run, you're good. The gut of the chute is of comparable difficulty to Main Chute though even wider and conditions will be about as good as they get!
