These technical chutes can be accessed by following West Ridge to the very edge of the resorts boundary and exiting through one of the backcountry gates there. Although they are quite short, these lines are not to be taken lightly. All of these chutes suffer from generally bad snow quality and should only be attempted in really good snow years. The first line is by far the easiest and the only line that doesn't require mandatory air. However, the line contains very very steep pitches and tight moments combined with generally bad snow quality. From each chutes gets tougher and tougher and require traversing and jumping multiple cliff-bands. If you're looking for the most technical terrain you can find in Copper's backcountry, look no further than this zone!
