Access this by following the Ptarmigan Ridge traverse all the way around to the far side of Sun Down Bowl. Do not drop in too early, you will want to go all the way past OS to the massive aspen grove in the distance. Go as far right as you want, but do not cross the rope as you will be out of bounds and in a dangerous situation. This often holds some of the best snow in the bowl due to the way the winds blow and the fact that its northerly facing.
