The Fish Creek area is a legendary side country canyon parallel to Steamboat Resort. It's home to some of the most accessible extreme terrain in all of Colorado! Zone 0 is one of the scariest areas in the canyon. You can either access it through Zone 1's gate which is the recommended approach. The insane way of doing this is to follow the Perimeter trail and hike up to the Upper Entrance into Zone 0 which is the first skiable line skiers' left of the unskiable Fish Creek Cliffs. This line is incredibly steep and rocky and is not really skiable most of the year unless the snowpack is really good. This is really only recommended for really confident skiers wanting to spice up an already scary run down Zone 0's main run. Note that in some years, this line might require some rope to rappel into.
