Bear Creek Trail and Stone House Trail Loop Map

This long, skinny loop hike runs along both sides of Bear Creek, utilizing the Bear Creek Trail and Stone House Trails to make the most of this small natural area nestled in Lakewood's suburban sprawl. This short walk provides the perfect dose of nature when you've had your fill of traffic, smog, and strip malls.

Description

Most of this loop follows paved greenway trails, meaning that the walking is very easy and suitable for the entire family. However, you'll find optional trails that provide dirt paths that you can walk along closer to the banks of the creek.

You can choose to extend your walk on either one of these trails, although the Bear Creek Trail is the lengthiest of the two, running both east and west from this point.
