The Olivine Trail Loop is a short, easily accessible hike that can be accessed directly from downtown Golden. This 1.5-mile loop heads up into the South Table Mountain Trail System, climbing quickly up a series of switchbacks to gain views over downtown Golden. After looping around a rocky outcropping, it descends quickly back down to the edge of town via the Lubahn Trail.

Description

This quick loop provides a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of Golden. But if you need more nature exposure, you can continue exploring the trails that stretch along the top of South Table Mountain, creating a much longer and more immersive adventure.
