How do you improve on the ripping downhill tech of the classic Avery trail? Why, by building Boulder Mason!

Description

Boulder Mason is one of the newest tech trails in the Evolution Bike Park, and it offers a fantastic alternate line off of the main Avery run. Unlike the old school tech of Avery, Boulder Mason features modern trail building techniques with well-constructed rocky gnar-gnar.

Don’t take “modern trail building” techniques to mean “easy.” Boulder Mason features several committing, steep rock rolls—often between flesh-shredding rock slabs and with abrupt endings that demand constant control.

The modern trail building techniques shine through with multiple line options. Roller lines and drop lines mesh seamlessly, as do straight lines and twisty lines. It’s amazing how many options are present in such a physically narrow trail!

If you bobble the lines through Boulder Mason, don’t worry: there’s always next run!
