A somewhat obscure up-track through the woods, from West Village to Timberline Express.
Resort Ski Touring Moderate
This is one of Copper’s dedicated daytime uphill routes. It begins on the green run Easy Feeling but then dives into the woods following the Chickaree Way summer trail. There may or may not be flagging marking the route. Just continue generally upward through the forest, crossing a few meadow clearings and gullies, to eventually reach the base of Timberline lift. From there you can ski down Woodwinds and Easy Feeling to base, or continue skinning up on either Copperfield or Soliloquy uphill routes.
Copper Mountain allows uphill travel on just a handful of designated routes during operating hours, and an uphill armband is required for access. Find out more information and how to get a pass on Copper’s uphill access page.
